Colombia Pedregal Reserva

Deep within Colombia’s province of Inza lies the little village of Pedregal where a group of 10 producers got together to bring this coffee to life. It was commonplace for coffee producers in Inza to sell their crop to buyers at a price below the national market; that was, until producers in Pedregal founded ‘Asorcafe’ which goes against the grain to provide fair and viable wages to local members. They continue to inspire a movement of entrepreneurialism in the Inza region of Colombia, partnering with private and state organizations to provide aid to their members including subsidies for domestic economy, education, job training, and healthcare services. We admire the bravery and dedication of joining together as a community and saying no to the status quo, and we resonate with the producers of Pedregal in many ways; but perhaps none is more apparent to us than the unmatched dedication to their community.
